Te Nikau houses a 24/7 emergency department, a critical care unit, an acute and planned medical and surgical services unit.
Urgent care, maternity services and outpatient care are also provided for. Allied health services are catered for with radiology, a medical laboratory, kitchen and a children’s ward.
